EMPLOYEE BENEFIT COMMUNICATION

THE PROBLEM

Your employees know their net paycheck to the penny. You, as an employer, know the cost of wages to the penny, but you also know "the rest of the story" as it pertains to the other piece of total compensation - BENEFITS. Benefits are viewed as part of an employees total compensation and thus should be designed to help a company earn a profit. Benefits should assist in improving productivity, retention and recruitment.

When asked to guess the total value of their benefits, employees err by thousands of dollars. When asked to name the core benefits being provided, employees are unable to name them all: health, dental, life, disability, retirement, vision, holidays, vacation, statutory and more! Yet, companies continue to spend millions of dollars annually and "the rest of the story" goes untold. How consistently is your company's "total compensation" and "benefits" story being told?

Employee Group Meetings

EMPLOYEE GROUP MEETINGS

Simply handing out benefit reports or mailing them to employees severely inhibits the full effect which can be obtained through the use of employee meetings. Group meetings include a multimedia presentation discussing each aspect of benefits, cumulative company costs and answering questions. Each shift and location receives the same story while Corporate Benefit Specialists acts as an extension of your personnel department, bringing outside objectivity that is well received by employees.

EMPLOYEE INDIVIDUAL MEETINGS

Experienced benefit counselors meet briefly with each employee as they receive their benefit report, further enhancing the impact and understanding of their benefits. This allows employees to ask questions. Our benefit counselors will either answer the questions or if need be, get back to the employee with an accurate answer. Depending on the number of employees and scheduling, Corporate Benefit Specialists benefit counselors can perform interactive electronic enrollment services of core benefits.
